The Saline New Horizons Band was founded in June of 2004 by Dr. Joseph Labuta and is affiliated with more than 160 other New Horizons Bands in the United States and internationally. The bands are part of the New Horizons International Music Association. Our adult band is open to musicians of every level of experience. Some of our members have played musical instruments many years ago in school but some are brand new to reading and playing music. Some of our members are expanding their "new horizons" with private instruction on their instrument. The main ingredient in our band is the opportunity to make good music and good friends. If you are interested in joining the band, just come to one of our rehearsals. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Liberty School at 7265 Saline-Ann Arbor Road in Saline. The new Green Horn Band meets from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 pm. at the same place on Tuesdays.
