Aaron Guy Culver, known in the family as "Guy", was the last child of Phineas and Electa Harkness Witherell (the second wife of Phineas). He was born on June 1, 1835 in Orleans County, New York and moved shortly thereafter to Mooreville, Michigan with his family. Guy married Elizabeth Cook on February 13, 1856 in Sharon Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan). They had 6 children: Ella, Emma, Frank, Willard, Charles and Ida. During the Civil War he served in Company E of the 25th Michigan Infantry. Elizabeth died on September 5, 1892 and Guy died on September 19,1907 |
